The Warm War

The Warm War started in 1837 when Chicago was nuked by Lobsters. This war lasted 41 years, the war was similar to The Cold War, but tension was in-between different sections of the city. Lobsters and Humans were slowly pushing on different borders within Chicago and retaking businesses and homes.

History

1837

Lobsters dropped the lobster nuke which initiated this war. Very few people in Chicago survived the lobster nuke, and the nuke itself released thousands of Lobsters, so they quickly occupied the entire city. Because of this, the president of the Kingdom of Chicago ordered for the military in Shelbyville to move to Chicago. This allowed much of the city to be retaken. The lobsters pushed back, but it was futile.

1838

The Lobsters started dying of radiation as they were released in the explosion. This allowed the rest of Chicago to be retaken and many believed that would be the last they would see of the lobsters.

1839

The Lobster Commander sent reinforcements from the Marianas Trench, including Red Lobsters, Yellow Lobsters, and Black Lobsters. This was the first discovery of the different types of lobsters so scientists took each type and did experiments in Joliet. The Lobsters quickly retook many sections of the city, but the military stayed strong in a few.

The war after this point was slower, involving waiting and pushing in strategic locations to retake additional sections of the city. The president called for reinforcements from neighboring countries in hopes of taking back Chicago in its entirety, but they accused him of lying and sent no reinforcements.

1846

Guns where the main weapon used by the military to kill Lobsters and take back Chicago. This lead to guns being nerfed by the lobsters. This made the war progress even slower and made it very difficult to retake the city.

1848

Scientists in Joliet discovered Freaky Free Key's which was an effective weapon against lobsters.

1857

The first case of the lobster disease was found and someone was turned into a Lobster Person.

1878

Scientists discovered a new way to kill Red Lobsters, they used masking tape which instantly killed red lobsters. Shortly after documenting it and sending it Joliet, they were fully taken over by the lobster disease and Chicago was lost.
