New Sweden is a country inside of the continent of Euraustraliasia. It united Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Norway to create a more powerful country. Swedish is taught everywhere in New Sweden, but some schools offer learning other languages such as Finnish. The current president of New Sweden is Shelby Archer.

New Sweden has states of the previous countries; Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland.

Democratic System

New Sweden adopted a democratic system after The Nordic Wars. There is one president, an election is held every 5 years, and any single president can be in office a maximum of 2 electoral terms. In the election you can also vote on a independent representative from your region. Each independent representative gets a seat in parliament and can vote for or against new laws passed. The new law needs to win by a majority for the law to pass. There is a total of 76 seats for independent representatives.

The next election is being held this year and the current candidates are: Valay Ikolson, Shelby Archer, Astrid Åberg, and Karin Carlgren.

Political Parties

New Swedish political parties usually consist of up to 10 people. One of them is the person actually running for president, if they win they will hold the power to pass laws for voting in parliament. The rest of the party are people holding similar ideological beliefs which help advise the "leader" of the party and potentially help the political campaign as well.

Capitals

Due to its history and creation, New Sweden has four capital cities. These cities are Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo and Copenhagen. Iceland's capital was excluded due to it being inaccessible by land.

Education

New Swedish people are taught about Lobsters at a young age, along with other dangers of the world such as Lobster People. This knowledge helps them later in life, where many New Swedish people decide to join The Lobster Resistance.
